Food Security

We support improving the nutritional status of women and children and enhance food security &  livelihoods.

COVID-19 Response. Coronavirus pandemic is spurring dramatic changes in all sectors. Equally important is its impact on local and global food systems, particularly on governments’ ability to provide safe, sufficient, affordable, and nutritious food to all citizens. We have been working on Kitchen Gardens in 20 villages of Chattarpur and Sheopur Districts of Madhya Pradesh which acted as saviors during the Covid-19 pandemic by providing 7 tons of fresh vegetables to all needy including migrants. Such projects will be scaled up and replicated in other villages as these gardens are the source of fresh vegetables and ensure food security in the villages.

Organisation took the initiative to provide food to the underprivileged who have been the most affected by the ongoing health and financial crisis due to the second wave of COVID-19. Under the initiative, 'Ration Distribution Drive', food relief measures for migrant workers and daily wage laborers were carried out by the team in Bhopal, Jodhpur, Barmer, and Balotra.
